Typical Consultancy Assignments: On and Off Client Site
We undertake client assignments for a wide range of clients throughout the U.K and the Republic of Ireland. These assignments can
vary in length from 2-3 weeks up to 1-2 years. Clearly you will need to have a flexible approach to working away from home during the
week. Our consultants typically travel to client site on a Monday morning and leave on a Friday afternoon, unless the client is
within daily commuting distance.
Our clients currently include the Energy Retail Association, where a team of consultants is helping to shape the future of smart
metering in the UK. We have also undertaken work to support the implementation and ongoing operation of the competitive electricity
market in Ireland and work with organisations such as the Environment Agency.
We also work extensively with energy suppliers and their agents across the UK and Ireland, providing support in a number of
different areas where the supplier requires specialist skills for a defined period of time. Typical assignments can include Supplier
and Agent operational management, settlement management, revenue assurance work including imbalance analysis, system migrations,
agent migrations and agent management.
This is only a small flavour of the type of client work we undertake and is by no means exhaustive.
Each member of our consultancy pool will be asked to carry out a number of internal business projects during the periods in
between client assignment. These will vary in type and size but can include bid support work and the development of internal
processes to help grow the company. These assignments will often be completed at home, but you will also be expected to come into our
London office from time to time.
