Continuing Our Commitment to Cybersecurity

Engage Consulting Renews Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

We’re pleased to announce that Engage Consulting has successfully reaccredited for Cyber Essentials (CE) and Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+).

Cyber security remains a top priority for us, not only as part of our internal operations but as a key pillar of our clients’ trust. These reaccreditations are a recognition of our ongoing work to maintain and improve our security posture in the face of constantly evolving cyber security threats.

Why Reaccreditation Matters

While achieving CE and CE+ for the first time is an important milestone, maintaining those standards year after year is where the real value lies. The reaccreditation process involves a thorough review of our systems, controls, and policies, confirming that we continue to meet the strict requirements of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

Reaccreditation isn’t a tick-box exercise; it’s a meaningful assurance that our approach to cyber security is proactive and effective, confirming that these critical areas remain robust across our organisation, from secure configuration and access control to malware protection and patch management.

Cyber Essentials vs Cyber Essentials Plus

Cyber Essentials is a self-assessed accreditation demonstrating that we have key technical controls to guard against common cyber threats.

Cyber Essentials Plus builds on this with an independent assessment, including a hands-on technical audit of our systems. This additional level of scrutiny provides a higher level of assurance.

By holding both, we demonstrate our commitment to baseline security standards and our willingness to open our systems to independent validation.

Building Confidence Across the Sector

As a consultancy working across the GB energy sector, our clients depend on us to manage information securely and responsibly handle data.  Reaccreditation sends a clear message that we take that responsibility seriously.

Cyber security isn’t just an internal concern; it’s integral to how we work with clients, partners, and suppliers. By maintaining CE and CE+, we’re helping to strengthen the broader ecosystem we operate within.

Looking Ahead

Cyber threats continue to evolve, and so will we. Our reaccreditation is a point of pride, but more importantly, it’s a commitment to continuous improvement. We’ll keep adapting, reviewing, and investing in our cybersecurity practices to deliver secure, high-quality services to our clients, now and in the future.
