Engage Supports Ashden Climate Initiative

Engage Consulting Backs Clean Energy Innovation with £400 Donation to Ashden

Engage Consulting is proud to announce its latest Corporate Social Responsibility initiative with a £400 donation to Ashden, a charity working towards a world where everyone has access to clean energy, where both people and nature can thrive, and where society is accelerating towards a fairer, greener future.

For 25 years, Ashden has been boosting climate solutions through its prestigious Ashden Awards programme, which provides grants, publicity, and vital connections to innovative organisations. Their practical solutions range from supporting solar power entrepreneurs in African refugee camps to implementing energy-efficient housing schemes across the UK.

The Engage Consulting management team commented: “As energy industry experts, we recognise the crucial role that organisations like Ashden play in accelerating the transition to clean energy. Their practical, community-rooted approach to creating lasting change, particularly through initiatives like the Energy Learning Network and community energy projects in the UK, resonated strongly. This donation reflects our commitment to supporting actions that drive positive change in the energy sector.”

Ed Dean, Ashden’s Director of Business Development, welcomed the support: “We’re delighted to receive this donation from Engage Consulting. It will help us power forward our work with innovators and communities taking on the climate crisis. This includes accelerating the transition to an inclusive clean energy future.”

Ashden’s impactful work includes:
  • The Let’s Go Zero campaign, supporting UK schools to become zero carbon by 2030

Beyond reducing carbon emissions, Ashden’s initiatives create broader societal benefits by generating jobs, improving public health, and promoting equality through locally-rooted solutions.

This donation continues Engage Consulting’s tradition of supporting organisations that make a real difference in the energy sector. Our previous CSR initiatives have included supporting the Fuel Bank Foundation, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to addressing energy-related challenges in communities across the UK.

Through supporting organisations like Ashden, we contribute to building a more sustainable and equitable energy future while staying true to our role as independent specialists in the energy sector since 2000.
