We are delighted to announce that Edita Gargasiene has joined Engage Consulting as Senior Consultant, bringing regulatory and operational expertise that will strengthen our capability in supporting clients across complex industry change.
Edita joins Engage with over nine years’ experience across the UK energy sector, bringing expertise gained from both regulatory and energy supplier environments. Having spent almost eight years at Ofgem before moving supplier-side, she offers a unique perspective on the challenges organisations face when balancing regulatory obligations, operational delivery and commercial objectives.
Deep Experience Across Regulation and Supply
During her time at Ofgem, Edita held a variety of operational, assurance and compliance leadership roles across major energy efficiency and social schemes, including the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Warm Home Discount (WHD), Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) and Smart Export Guarantee (SEG). She worked closely with energy suppliers, government departments and industry stakeholders on regulatory oversight, assurance, reporting and scheme delivery.
More recently, working at an new energy supplier, Edita built and led the compliance function during a period of rapid growth and increasing regulatory scrutiny. Her work spanned governance, reporting, assurance, operational readiness, risk management and cross-functional process improvement, providing first-hand experience of the operational realities faced by energy suppliers.
