Engage Consulting joins the Renewable Energy Associations Energy Storage and Electricity Vehicle Forums.

We are thrilled to announce that Engage Consulting has renewed its membership with the Renewable Energy Association (REA). Our decision to join their Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle forums reflects our continued focus on the Energy Flexibility markets, as demonstrated by our involvement in  DESNZ’s flagship programmes in  Alternative Energy Markets and Interoperable Demand Side Response.

The REA

The REA is a not-for-profit trade association, and the UK’s largest renewable energy and clean technology body. It has approximately five hundred members collaborating in Net Zero progressive areas such as renewable power, energy flexibility, and the decarbonisation of transport and heating.

Engaging with the Energy Storage Forum

In addition to the EV Forum, we are also excited to join the Energy Storage Forum. This forum represents a diverse group of stakeholders, including manufacturers, project developers, and financiers, working with various energy storage technologies. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are essential at the local and national level to deliver a flexible energy system where we can make the best use of clean energy even in periods of peak demand. Our involvement in this forum will enable us to stay at the forefront BESS advancements, ensuring we can offer our clients the most up-to-date and effective solutions.

Joining the EV Forum (ReCharge UK)

Our membership of the Recharge UK forum will see Engage collaborate with a variety of EV sector stakeholders including charge point operators, manufacturers, and green finance groups. As members, Engage looks forward to contributing to the development of innovative charging solutions that will accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across the UK. We are particularly excited to highlight the often overlooked opportunities that smart charging presents in transitioning to flexible energy systems and enhancing Demand Side Response initiatives. As a member of this forum, we will provide and develop key insights into the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape of electric vehicles (EVs), and offer our clients unique perspectives on opportunities arising from EV charging technology

Engage Consulting and Energy Flexibility

Our renewed membership and change in REA forum marks a pivotal step in our Engage journey, where we’re leveraging decades of expertise in the energy sector to drive transformative solutions for the UK’s shift to flexible energy markets. We’re excited to foster new collaborations and reconnect with valued clients at the forums.
