At Engage Consulting, supporting the causes that matter to our team is a cornerstone of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. We are proud to announce that we are sponsoring Lead Consultant Tom Desmond with a £250 donation as he prepares to take on his first ever marathon, the adidas Manchester Marathon on 19th April 2026, raising funds for ONSIDE, a charity he holds close to his heart.
About ONSIDE
ONSIDE is a Herefordshire and Worcestershire-based charity that supports adults and children who may be isolated or living with poor mental health. Many of the people ONSIDE work with lack the confidence, ability or knowledge to take the first steps in reaching out for help. Through advocacy, connection and tailored support, ONSIDE empowers people to live their best lives possible, currently supporting over 15,000 local people.
The funds Tom raises will go directly towards the transformation of specialist meeting spaces and towards providing enriching experiences for children and young people supported through ONSIDE’s Independent Visitor programme.
Tom Takes on 26.2 Miles
Taking on a marathon is no small feat, and Tom’s commitment to completing his first 26.2 miles in support of ONSIDE reflects the kind of dedication that defines the Engage Consulting team.
Tom commented: ONSIDE’s work genuinely changes lives, and taking on my first marathon felt like a meaningful way to support a charity I care deeply about. Running for ONSIDE gives every mile purpose, and I’m grateful to Engage for supporting a charity that does such important work for vulnerable people.

Our Approach to Corporate Social Responsibility
