We are delighted to announce that Grace Carroll, Senior Consultant at Engage Consulting, has been shortlisted for the Communications & Engagement Award at this year’s Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Awards, hosted by Energy UK.
Now in their 12th year, the YEP Awards celebrate the brightest emerging talent in the UK energy industry: professionals with no more than 10 years’ experience who are already making their mark and driving the sector forward. The Communications & Engagement Award recognises candidates who have used outstanding communications and engagement skills to benefit their company and the wider energy industry.
Grace’s nomination recognises the impact she has made through our successful training partnership with Energy UK. Leading a team of Engage trainers, Grace has driven the development and delivery of engaging training that has empowered hundreds of professionals across the UK and global energy sector.
Her approach combines engaging delivery, practical resources and collaborative discussion, deepening industry knowledge, developing future leaders and strengthening capability across the sector. In an industry navigating significant change, from Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) to the transition to a low carbon future, this kind of clear, accessible knowledge-sharing has never been more valuable.
Grace Carroll, shared “I’m honoured to have been nominated for YEP’s Comms & Engagement Award in recognition of my industry training work. I’m passionate about using the training I deliver in partnership with Energy UK to motivate professionals at all stages of their careers and give them the tools to achieve their goals. Its also been a privilege to meet hundreds of insightful attendees over the last few years, so being recognised for something I also take great joy in is a true pleasure.”
Chris Cook, Head of Consultancy at Engage Consulting, says: “At a time of huge change in our industry, sharing knowledge clearly and effectively has never mattered more. Grace and her team have set the standard for what great energy sector training looks like: engaging, practical and genuinely collaborative. This nomination is wonderful recognition of the capability she is helping to build across the sector.”
As long-standing supporters of emerging talent in the sector, we are also proud to be sponsoring the Rising Star category at this year’s awards. Engage Consulting has provided independent specialist advisory and project management services in the energy sector since 2000, and supporting the professionals who will shape the industry’s future is central to who we are.
The winners will be announced at the YEP Awards ceremony on Wednesday 11 November at the Hilton London Bankside. We will be cheering Grace on. Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists.
