We are delighted to announce that Matthew Johnson, Chief Executive of Engage Consulting, has been invited to judge the STEM Trailblazer Award at this year’s Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Awards, taking place on 6 November 2025 at the Hilton London Bankside.
The YEP Awards, now in their eleventh year, are organised by Energy UK, the trade association for the energy industry. They celebrate the achievements of young professionals with up to ten years’ experience who are shaping the future of the sector. The awards highlight talent across nine categories, from Rising Star and Customer Champion to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Team of the Year, and the prestigious YEP of the Year title. Together, they showcase the creativity, innovation and leadership of those at the forefront of the energy transition.
As judge of the STEM Trailblazer Award, Matt will be decide between four outstanding finalists:
- Frances Hagen (Centrica)
- Connell Parker (E.ON)
- Clare Rentsch (Accenture)
- Helen Rogers (Uniper)
Sponsored by E.ON, this award recognises individuals who have demonstrated innovation and entrepreneurship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, fields that are central to driving progress in energy.
