We are delighted to announce that Michael Clarke has joined Engage Consulting as a Senior Consultant, bringing with him over two decades of exceptional experience in leading large-scale operational teams across the global energy and retail sectors.
Michael’s extensive background spans senior leadership roles in Operational Delivery, Program Management, as well as Training and Technical Delivery worldwide. His proven track record in the Energy industry encompasses deep expertise in regulatory strategy, energy market design, and operational excellence – areas that align perfectly with our commitment to helping clients navigate the evolving energy landscape.
Transformational Leadership Experience
Most recently at ASDA, Michael played a pivotal role in one of Europe’s largest ever retail transformation programmes. Michael has extensive experience in operational and project delivery, building successful relationships not just within UK markets but alongside BPO partners in India, South Africa, and the Philippines. His key responsibilities included delivering the rollout of a new Customer Relationship Management system as part of this ambitious three-year change project.
Michael has spent over 20 years in this sector, working for British Gas, Eon, and npower in leading the deployment of high impact business cases, re-shaping operating models, and delivering strategic roadmaps in support of business transformation and innovation.
