Engage Consulting is proud to announce its involvement in this fantastic and revolutionary initiative for the energy industry.
The Alternative Energy Market Programme was initiated by DESNZ (Department for Energy Security and Net Zero) in May 2023, involving four unique projects, each tasked with simulating the impact of potential future market conditions on end consumers. Phase 1 ran from May to November 2023 and following a down selection process the ISEE (Intelligent Smart Energy Engine) Project led by Solo Energy and supported by Engage Consulting was chosen to progress into Phase 2.
This project is integral to energy flexibility and demand side response developments, focussing on the practical and financial benefits that can be achieved by consumers within the energy market of the future. It will also be fundamental in supporting the UK Government’s objectives to reach Net Zero by 2050.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing a lot more information on this exciting project, including a look back at our work within Phase 1, the lessons learned along the way and how Engage is positioned at the forefront of the energy market’s most influential and important initiatives.
