Over the past year, we have been strategically repositioning and restructuring to align more closely with our client’s future needs, particularly as the energy sector undergoes significant changes. Hiring Matt Johnson marks a key milestone in our journey, bringing fresh perspectives and strengthening our senior management team.
A Wealth of Experience
Matt Johnson joins us with a distinguished career spanning over a decade in senior leadership roles within the energy sector. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of EMR Settlements, a subsidiary of ELEXON, and has held influential positions at the Low Carbon Contract Company (LCCC) and Havells Sylvania UK.
Among his notable achievements, Matt has been instrumental in developing and evolving the settlement service for the Contracts for Difference and Capacity Market schemes. His leadership has also paved the way for securing numerous new business ventures, including the recent initiative for ELEXON involving the Energy Intensive Industry Network Charge Compensation scheme.
Joining Forces with Engage’s Leadership
Matt will work closely with John Peters, Managing Director; Richard Cullen, Practice Director; and Kevin Mitchell, Head of Service Delivery. His role will focus on driving the business forward and spearheading growth through advisory and project management services that are crucial in evolving market arrangements, innovating consumer services and products, and multi-stakeholder issue resolution.
