Engage Consulting is a leading energy consultancy practice, and we are seeking individuals looking to begin or advance their careers in consultancy within the energy sector.
The role and your current experience:
You may have either an operational or existing consultancy background. Importantly, you need to be able to build strong relationships with clients throughout the pre-sales and delivery phases of our customer journey, understanding their issues, and proposing and developing solutions.
This will require you to take an active interest in the sector and the many exciting challenges it faces. It will also require robust delivery capabilities, as well as a motivation to participate extensively in our business sales process through networking with industry colleagues, attending key industry events, building new relationships, and identifying and progressing new opportunities. Further training in these skills would be available to the right candidate.
You will be highly numerate with excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills and, ideally, an understanding of some standard management and consultancy tools and techniques. It goes without saying that you should be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
We would especially welcome knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Emerging business models, energy products & services and enabling technologies
- Energy markets operation, codes and regulation
- Digitalisation of the energy sector
- Business and data analysis
Location:
Work is based from home/office/client site in a hybrid workplace arrangement, as required. You will be expected to manage your own time to deliver on task deadlines effectively.

Salary range and benefits:
Salary range: £60k to £80k + bonus and benefits. Depending on experience.
