We’re proud to continue our support of Energy UK, the trade association for the energy industry.
The Lightning Bolt Talks were devised to enable people from the energy and policy world to come together and to share forward-thinking and innovative ways of using data to understand, explain and improve the energy industry in the UK.
The Lightning Bolt Talks Events provide attendees with speakers who are demonstrating excellent data usage in the energy industry. Each speaker is allotted five minutes to showcase their work, and their talk is followed by an interactive question-and-answer session. Alongside this, there is also ample networking time with the wider group. All of this ensures that the event is a prime opportunity for both experts and peers to share insights and spark up some interesting conversations.
The energy sector faces a number of current challenges, including how to support consumers through the cost-of-living crisis, through to how Net Zero can be achieved. Many of these challenges call for implementing new ways that the data in the industry can be widely shared and received.
